Philosophy
My approach to therapy is an
integrative therapeutic approach in which I walk along side my clients to unpack the complexities of life.I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy and a client centered lens. There is intentionality in me providing support which propels clients to implement tools beyond the therapeutic space. I have experience in family therapy, multi systemic therapy, spiritual/faith based counseling, as well as in the following specific areas: Self-esteem, Anxiety, Trauma, and Interpersonal/relationship conflict. In addition, as a certified Reiki Practitioner I acknowledge the spirit self. I offer Reiki sessions which promotes stress reduction, relaxation, emotional and physical pain relief, harmony and balance. I look forward to supporting you through this journey of growth.
