Philosophy

I am a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at Wheaton College and am completing the trauma track for my focus. Before going back to school to complete my Doctorate, I was an LMFT therapist in my home state of Minnesota. I love working with people working to overcome life’s challenges and working in a supportive, collaborative manner. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy in accordance with DBT distress tolerance skills to help develop a healthier you. I am a big believer in positive regard and walking with my patients through life’s tough challenges. I enjoy (of course, being from Northern Minnesota) the outdoors and hiking with my family. I love exploring and taking day trips to see random new places I have never been before.
